Training provided.<br>• Solicit pricing from equipment vendors and subcontractors.<br>• Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including <br>current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, <br>sales brochures, price lists, etc.<br>• Support other department personnel as required; may include preparing <br>estimates in other disciplines.<br>• May review design options and recommend best solutions based on cost, <br>engineering quality, or availability of materials.<br>• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.</p><p style="margin: 0;">•Work closely with preconstruction engineers to determine a final scope of work and pricing for same.</p><p style="margin: 0;"> </p></div>
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience

<div class="ck-content" data-wrapper="true" dir="ltr" style="--ck-image-style-spacing: 1.5em; --ck-inline-image-style-spacing: calc(var(--ck-image-style-spacing) / 2); --ck-color-selector-caption-background: hsl(0, 0%, 97%); --ck-color-selector-caption-text: hsl(0, 0%, 20%); font-family: Segoe UI; font-size: 11pt;"><ul style="padding-inline-start: 40px; margin-inline-start: 0px; margin-inline-end: 0px;"><li>3-5 years estimating experience, or equivalent field experience at foreman level, in commercial construction.</li><li> Experience with pharmaceuticals, research and development, and laboratory construction preferred.</li><li> High school diploma. Ability to read and comprehend plumbing drawings and design specifications.</li><li> Trade school graduate preferred. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of plumbing systems, material types, installation techniques and code.</li><li> Some knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control preferred but not required.</li><li> Knowledge of, and hands on use of Microsoft Excel and Word.</li><li> Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul></div>
Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 Based on experience (FSLA Non-Exempt)
