Primary Function

<p>Develop controls sales opportunities by networking, building relationships, working with existing service clients, and in-house construction projects. </p>
Typical Duties
*
<ul> <li>Identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing customers.</li> <li>Perform site visits and drawing take-offs to successfully estimate and propose control system retrofits, construction projects, and maintenance agreements.</li> <li>Successfully match HVAC systems with a proposed controls solution.</li> <li>Create and deliver presentations that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.</li> <li>Initiate and participate in marketing events and customer interactions (i.e., lunches, sporting events, industry events, etc.)</li> <li>Obtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations.</li> <li>Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.</li> <li>Maintain positive communications with all customers and company business groups to facilitate growth, opportunity, and a high comfort level with our organization.</li> <li>Proven successful work experience with large commercial HVAC control systems.</li> <li>Hunter mindset with a drive for sales and a passion for meeting customers.</li> <li>Experience and understanding of the budgeting and bid process for owner direct and construction projects.</li> <li>Effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.</li> <li>This position requires a strong technical or mechanical background along with the ability to learn engineering concepts</li> <li>Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and personal vehicle for site visits and meetings.</li> <li>Must understand and comply with all company safety and OSHA requirements.</li> </ul>

Salary Range

Salary $70,000 - $85,000 per year based on Experience + Commission (FLSA - Non Exempt)
