Primary Function
*
<p>Reduce the risk of incidents and injuries on construction projects, and service calls, through administration and management of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Policies, and the management of both company and contracted Safety Associates.</p>
Typical Duties
*
<ul> <li>Coach and lead Safety Associates to success in the field.</li> <li>Lead incident investigations and the resulting meetings with General Contractor (GC) and Client Representatives.</li> <li>Lead and oversee High-Risk Activities on projects to ensure safe execution and resolution.</li> <li>Inspect and audit construction projects for compliance with company, state and federal occupational safety and health standards.</li> <li>Deliver required OSH training to employees as required.</li> <li>Evaluate, assess, and eliminate hazards through regular site walks.</li> <li>Liaise with field crews and supervision to ensure compliance with OSH policies.</li> <li>Meet with GC and Client Representatives as needed.</li> <li>Support the Safety Director in the development and implementation of new OSH policies, procedures, and initiatives.</li> <li>Attending industry organizational meetings to stay up to date on latest developments and trends.</li> <li>Perform additional responsibilities as directed by Safety Director or corporate executives.</li> <li>Assist injured employees in obtaining the proper care to return to health as soon as possible.</li> </ul>
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience

<ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li> <li>CHST is required, ASP, SMS Preferred</li> <li>Ability to lead and coach individuals</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills</li> <li>5 years of Construction/Service Safety Experience Required</li> <li>Thorough understanding of all federal, state, and local Occupational Safety and Health, and EPA regulations.</li> <li>Critical-thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li> <li>HVAC, or Electrical experience a bonus</li> <li>Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms</li> </ul>
Salary Range
*
$100k to $125k, based on experience. (FLSA Non- Exempt)
